Introduction

      As mentioned in written sources from several centuries ago doctors, healers and biologists noticed the energy surrounding and filling living organisms, the popular name of which is bioenergy or, occasionally, aura. This is the energy that gives life to all members of the biosphere: plants, animals and humans. The extent of this energy and the amplitude of its vibration is specific of each species, even individuals, and can even be influenced by our momentary emotional or mental state. Our aura, in other words the bioenergetic defence system is the basis of the coordinated and harmonious functioning of our cells and of the whole body. It enables us to resist the repeated invasions of negative effects against our body and to fight successfully against stress and disease. The body strives to maintain bioenergetic balance. This dynamic balance is the result of the continual processes of energy intake and continual replacement processes. To balance the negative environmental and psychic effects that modern man is bombarded by, he is forced to use extra energy in addition to the amount of energy necessary for normal life processes. The body is forced to use up this extra energy by environmental pollutants, an unhealthy diet, disturbances in spiritual life and various kinds of harmful radiation e.g. radioactive and earth radiation. The body whose bioenergetic supplies are gradually decreasing is not able to withstand the mounting pressure, grows weaker and weaker until finally succumbs to illness. The obvious method of healing would be to introduce bioenergy into the sick body and eliminate the effects of the above mentioned harmful factors while it undergoes appropriate medical treatment as well. This would enable the natural defence mechanism of the weakened body to fight the illness and overcome it. It is in this process of helping the body to regenerate and maintain health that the Orgon bioenergy programme brings revolutionary change. The essence of Orgon therapy is the replacement and storage of bioenergy lost, as well as the restoration and conditioning of the natural, healthy aura.
